Knight Rider
The faithful steed of David Hasselhoff, voiced by William Daniels.
-
The design of the car was created in just 2 weeks. This was the time given to Michael Scheffe and his team before filming started. They had to design the car from scratch and fabricate parts on their own. The result is one of the most iconic cars of all time. Scheffe would later work on Back to the Future and 2002's Spiderman.

KITT stands for Knight Industries Two Thousand.
-
KITT's stunts were expensive to produce. 4 to 9 cars were destroyed per season, and each car cost almost $20,000 to convert into KITT
